That was hilarious. Isn't this from that episode where they go to the Chinese restaurant and do not get any place to sit?
One of the best things to happen after coming to the US to me was Seinfeld. I hadn't known about this back in India and to my humour sensibilities that were dumbed down during the hyperactive hormanal teenage years by the explicit sexual humour of Friends, Seinfeld blew me away with quality and intelligence unsurpassed by any sitcom I had viewed till date.
There! I was trying some similar to 'impending intestinal requirement.' By the way did you know that the character of George is based on the series producer/director Larry David?
Also today Gaurav Sabnis too has a piece about his best moment from Seinfeld.
Same thing happened to me. I was mostly fascinated by Friends before I came to the US and watching Seinfeld changed my opinions. As you said, there is no comparison between the two. There is lot more quality and substance to Seinfeld.

Yes, it was from the Chinese Restaurant episode.

I heard too that George character was based on Larry David. Funny thing is that George represents so many of the not-so-likeable qualities ("careful" with money, or pushing all the kids and old people away to escape fire, or questioning social norms like taking wine to a dinner party and so on) but he still manages to crack us up everytime he appears. He has a great way with words. Have you seen The Marine Biologist (The sea was angry that day my friends..)
I read the post on Gaurav Sabnis' blog. That is another gem. Cramer is awesome. He is truly an innocent primate.
